PRESENTATION

Acute, urgent or emergent clinical situations, of a medical or trauma nature, usually cause stress and/or anxiety in healthcare professionals, however, they require a quick, effective and competent response. In neonatal or pediatric age, it is necessary to add the usual less training or experience, and the specificity that the integrated approach to the child/family binomial requires. This postgraduate training aims to help overcome any difficulties, better training healthcare professionals to act in the context of acute, urgent or emergent clinical situations, which occur in pediatric age, at any level of healthcare.
