PRESENTATION

The complexity and specificity of surgical user care in different contexts lead to the need for specialized training for nursing professionals working in the context of operative block, in order to develop specific skills in this area of intervention.

The Postgraduate Course in Surgical Instrumentation aims to develop the formation of nurses in this specific area of surgical instrumentation, providing theoretical-practical knowledge in different surgical specialties, in order to train qualified professionals in order to respond to different clinical contexts in the context of operating room.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY CYCLE

a) Provide the technical-scientific and practical knowledge nursing professionals in the context of the operative block unit;
b) Know the specificities in the area of surgical instrumentation in the different areas specialty;
c) Develop practices that guarantee patient safety and professional protection.
