GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY CYCLE
Collaborate in the development and implementation of educational and training programs and projects in diverse environments;
Select strategies, educational technologies and supports suitable for different types of learning, objectives and target audience;
Design and produce attractive and innovative multimedia resources to support teaching and training at different levels and modalities;
Structuring virtual learning situations and environments with integration of digital educational resources;
Adapt instruments and evaluation strategies to monitor projects, products and learning;
Develop strategies and techniques to promote participation in the educational and training process and lifelong learning;
Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and educational design;
Apply techniques for gathering information and processing quantitative and qualitative data;
Contribute to the communication and dissemination of educational projects using different supports, favoring trust, dialogue and mutual support.
Throughout the cycle of studies, the student should develop specific knowledge, skills and competences, to autonomous performance to plan, manage and carry out clinical secretarial activities in Health Units, namely:
Perform secretarial activities in different health units, with different types of intervention
Develop grounded, updated and adapted care to the health condition of users;
Perceive and experiment with communication techniques adapting strategies to contexts and groups
Mastering the terminology necessary for the performance of functions, communicating appropriately with users and health professionals
Acquire written expression techniques, namely the notions of space and time in the creation and projection of the text; master the appropriate writing style for various accomplishments
Adapt the use of the English language in the professional context,
Use personal development strategies that promote Emotional Intelligence, assertiveness and empathy in the work context;
Know the rules and requirements in the field of safety and hygiene at work
Develop knowledge, skills and attitudes, in the practice of professionals in line with ethical-legal imperatives in a humanized perspective of health care provision
Knowing the humanization needs in the care of each specific case
Acquire first aid and basic life support skills
Use information systems specific to clinical contexts
Know the main health protocols related to users and the organization of services
Organize daily tasks and effectively manage time
Know and identify the health subsystems, agreements and contributions within the scope of document management and communication
This course is taught in partnership with the Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti – ESEPF.
Classes will take place at the facilities of the Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti.
Distance of about 10 minutes on foot from the Escola Superior de Saúde de Santa Maria.
