Santa Maria Health School, as a partner institution of the European project CAPAGE, will take part in the 4th Transnational Meeting and Workshop, entitled “Academic–Healthcare Collaboration in Ageing”, to be held from 8 to 12 June 2026 in Graz, Austria.

The event will take place at the University of Applied Sciences FH JOANNEUM and will bring together consortium partners and international experts with the aim of strengthening collaboration between academia and healthcare settings, fostering innovative approaches in the field of active ageing.

Throughout the meeting and workshop, participants will engage in the exchange of good practices, joint reflection on project outcomes, and alignment of forthcoming activities, contributing to enhanced institutional and professional capacity in healthy ageing.

The CAPAGE – Promoting academic and professional excellence in health care to meet the challenges of aging in Sri Lanka project (101127234-CAPAGE-ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) is co-funded by the European Union, runs from 2024 to 2027, and involves collaboration between four European universities; FH JOANNEUM Graz University of Applied Sciences (Austria), JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Santa Maria Health School (Portugal), and the University of A Coruña (Spain); and six universities in Sri Lanka: Eastern University Sri Lanka, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, University of Colombo, University of Jaffna, University of Peradeniya, and University of Ruhuna.
