Between 10 and 11 October, the Escola Superior de Saúde de Santa Maria (ESSSM) was represented at the Salon de l’Étudiant – Étudier à l’étranger, held at Porte de Versailles, Paris, with the aim of promoting its educational offer to French students interested in pursuing higher education in Portugal.
This participation took place within the framework of the Compete 2030 project and was organised by the Department of Internationalisation of IES. The event provided an opportunity to introduce ESSSM, present its degree programmes and promote Portugal as a destination for higher education in the health sciences.

On 12 October, the initiative continued with a visit to the Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye, where ESSSM had the opportunity to present its educational offer to 62 students: 33 in their final year of secondary education (12th grade) and 29 in the penultimate year (11th grade). This initiative was supported by Cap Magellan, helping to connect the institution with French students and showcase the academic opportunities available at ESSSM.

These initiatives are part of ESSSM’s internationalisation strategy, strengthening its presence among international audiences and encouraging French students to pursue their higher education in Portugal.
Through these activities, ESSSM continues to invest in internationalisation, the promotion of its academic programmes abroad and the development of partnerships that create new academic opportunities and strengthen its international presence.
