Santa Maria Health School welcomes international mobility of Professor Sefa Yıldırım.

Santa Maria Health School welcomed Professor Sefa Yıldırım, faculty member at Bezmialem Vakif University, within the framework of an international mobility programme held from May 18th to 22nd, 2026.

During her stay, Professor Sefa Yıldırım took part in a welcome session and a guided tour of the institution’s facilities, with the Department of Innovation, Research and Internationalisation, marking the beginning of her academic visit with an institutional integration moment.

Throughout the week, the Professor attended a meeting with the Coordinator of the Physiotherapy Bachelor’s Degree, Professor Duarte Pereira, fostering academic exchange and strengthening institutional cooperation. The mobility also included meetings with faculty members responsible for different areas of specialization in Physiotherapy, further enhancing scientific and pedagogical collaboration.

A key highlight of the programme was the seminar “Current Exercise Approaches in Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis”, delivered to 4^th year Physiotherapy students, focusing on contemporary therapeutic exercise approaches.
