From September 30 to October 4, the Porto Face-to-face Meeting of the CAPAGE Project – Promoting Academic and Professional Excellence in Health Care to Meet the Challenges of Aging in Sri Lanka – took place at Santa Maria Health School (ESSSM).

This prestigious international project, funded by the European Union, involves 10 partners from Europe and Sri Lanka, including the Santa Maria Health School (ESSSM).

The primary goal of the CAPAGE project is to enhance the professional skills of healthcare providers working with older adults through a coordinated interdisciplinary approach. The project aligns with EU standards, Sri Lanka’s national health priorities, and collaborates with academics, healthcare professionals, students, clients, researchers, and governmental and non-governmental organizations from Sri Lanka.

ESSSM proudly hosted this event, which welcomed more than 30 international participants.
