Professors Beatriz Edra and Catarina Ribeiro, from the Nursing Scientific and Technical Area of Santa Maria Health School – Porto, took part in the International Week in Nursing, hosted by Haute École Robert Schuman (Belgium), from April 22 to 25, 2025, under the Erasmus+ programme.

These events aim to strengthen international partnerships, foster cultural exchange, and explore current trends and challenges in nursing education and practice. Throughout the week, the lecturers visited clinical training sites, attended simulation sessions and OSCEs (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations), and engaged in discussions with peers and students from other European institutions.

The week concluded with the Printemps de l’éthique, a forum dedicated to the theme “Care and procedures: a relationship in tension?”, which offered an interdisciplinary and ethical reflection on healthcare practices.

This participation is aligned with Santa Maria Health School – Porto internationalization strategy and contributes to the professional and academic development of the teaching staff.
