Santa Maria Health School is taking part in the CAPAGE Project Meeting – Promoting Academic and Professional Excellence in Health Care to Meet the Challenges of Aging in Sri Lanka (capage.eu), which started today in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

This prestigious EU-funded international project brings together 10 partners from Europe and Sri Lanka to enhance academic and professional excellence in geriatric healthcare.

Today, February 17, 2025, the event features the Management Meeting and the Policy Dialogue on “Global Perspectives on Geriatric Care: Lessons for Policy and Practice.”

From February 18 to 19, 2025, the International Conference on Frailty and Geriatric Assessments 2025 (more details here) will take place, focusing on research and innovation in geriatrics.

ESSSM is represented at this event by Professor Duarte Pereira and Dr. Vanessa Sousa, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to research and excellence in healthcare education for the aging population.
