The Master in Medical-Surgical Nursing results from a consortium established with the S. José Cluny Higher School of Nursing.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY CYCLE
a) Demonstrate profound knowledge in the scientific area of medicalurgical nursing and develops them with the use of research, innovation and deepening their professional behavior;
b) understand and solve problems in new situations or in broad and multidisciplinary contexts, in the exercise of professional activity specialized in the area of medical-surgical nursing;
c) integrate specialized knowledge of the area of medical-surgical nursing, dealing with complex issues, developing solutions or issuing judgments, considering the associated ethical and social responsibilities and responsibilities;
d) communicate their conclusions, the knowledge and reasoning underlying them, both experts and non -experts, clearly and without ambiguity;
e) Evidence competences that allow it to autonomous learning throughout life.
Fortnightly (Friday afternoon and Saturday all day).
30 (thirty) enrolled candidates.
They can apply for the master’s degree in medical-surgical nursing, licensed and post-educated, with curriculum and/or interest in the area of medical-surgical nursing, as well as the options:
Nursing to the person in a critical situation; Nursing to the person in a palliative situation; Nursing to the person in a perioperative situation.
This course is taught in Portuguese.
