Between May 9 and 15, 2025, Santa Maria Health School hosted three faculty members from the University of Physical Education in Krakow, Poland – Aleksandra Kulis, Paulina Aleksander-Szymanowicz, and Urszula Chrabota – as part of an Erasmus+ staff training mobility (Staff Training Mobility – STT). The visit was organised and accompanied by faculty member Patrícia Graça, in collaboration with the Department of Research, Projects, and Internationalisation (DIPI).

During the week, the faculty members took part in visits to institutions such as the Ponte da Pedra Therapeutic Community and the Entre Douro e Vouga Hospital, where they engaged with different therapeutic intervention settings. They also participated in various teaching activities within the Occupational Therapy degree programme, covering topics such as professional foundations, research, intervention with older adults, and Basic Life Support training, with students from the 1st to the 4th year.

This mobility contributed to strengthening institutional relationships, sharing pedagogical and clinical practices, and deepening international cooperation in the field of Occupational Therapy.
