Santa Maria Health School participates in this important meeting, at the invitation of Banco Santander, where 1200 people are present, of which around 700 are deans and presidents of schools, representing 14 billion students and whose central theme is University and Society.
Ana Botin, president of the bank, António Guterres, Secretary General of the UN, and Pedro Sanches, Prime Minister of Spain participated in the inaugural session.
Numerous personalities from education and science at an international level participated in the Meeting, namely Tom Bernets-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web. The various panels and discussions focused on how more and better education can be achieved and how higher education can be better integrated with society.
