At the invitation of the Aga Khan Foundation, ESSSM attended the opening ceremony of the Schools 2030 Global Forum.
Schools 2030 program is under development in 10 countries, including Portugal, seeking to contribute to SDG 4 – Quality education for all. It is a program of the Aga Khan Foundation that has a consortium of partners such as the LEGO Foundation, Jacobs Foundation, Oak Foundation, Atlassian Foundation, Dubai Cares, Porticus, Itau Social Foundation, Imaginable Futures, USAID, Education Cannot Wait and UNICEF.
The Schools 2030 Global Forum in Porto is organized by the Aga Khan Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Porto City Council, with the support of the Associação do Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal.
Over three days around 250 participants from 35 countries discuss and share results on How can we promote more inclusive schools and pluralistic learning societies for all by 2030? Teachers, students, researchers, policy makers will come together and try to answer these questions.
