On February 22nd, the kick-off meeting of the CAPAGE project – Promoting academic and professional excellence in health Care to meet the challenges of aging in Sri-Lanka – ended.
The event was held in Kandy, Sri-Lanka between the 19th and 25th and was attended and collaborated by Dr. Vanessa Sousa and Prof. Duarte Pereira, who represented Santa Maria Health School throughout the event.
The CAPAGE project’s main objective is to respond to the health needs of older people, seeking to train educational institutions in SriLanka in the area of active and healthy aging. This project is made up of 6 educational institutions from Sri Lanka and 4 European partners:
